Accompany & assist mom to doctor/pediatric appointments. (This option is great for multiples or needing help with siblings)

Light Cleaning (dishes, tidying and organizing)

Light meal & snack prep assistance (upon request)

Baby Laundry (wash & fold)

Basic infant care

Care for infant(s) while parents eat, nap, shower or go for a walk

Care for infant(s) while parents have bonding time with older siblings

Breastfeeding support (referral if needed)

Bottle-feeding support

Nursery organization

Assistance with sibling integration (if needed)

Basic baby-wearing advice & referral

Infant soothing advice

Parent & baby bonding guidance

Small errands for mom

Cloth diaper assistance & education

Unlimited phone & text support during contracted hours

In-person support can be swapped for virtual if needed (out of town, sick, ect)
Things Postpartum Doula's Don't Do

Assess the mother or infant(s) medical condition(s)

Do heavy housekeeping

Insist new parents care for their infant(s)/children in a particular style - I am here to build your confidence in your parenting style and choices!

Take over 100% of the infant(s) care - This one is the most important to remember! - While I am definitely here to allow you rest if needed, I am here to work alongside you and even educate if needed. I am here to help you heal and build your confidence as a mom!
